The English for Education course is an English for specific purposes (ESP) course introducing students to the principles and techniques of teaching and learning English as a foreign language. During the lessons the teacher will dedicate time to both presenting various teaching methods and approaches used in the classroom and also to teaching those same students through the methods presented.
The English for Education course is an ESP course and therefore its aim is too teach the English Language through various subjects which are of importance in the everyday life of the individual students.
In the case of English for Education it is assumed that those who attend such a course are foreigners who want to improve their English Language skills whilst learning more about how they can use their language skills in an Educational profession or environment.
